Flying Humanoids & Cryptozoology

Cryptozoologist Ken Gerhard discussed his research into mythical creatures as well as tangible evidence for flying humanoids such as Mothman and their connection to UFOs, curses, and tragedies. He cited examples of lore and mythologies around the world which describe various incarnations of these creatures. The conceptual synthesis of human and avian characteristics dates back over 17,000 years to depictions at the cave paintings in Lascaux, France. Other anthropomorphic bird-humans appeared in engravings and bas-reliefs in ancient Sumeria, as well as the winged Pazuzu, the Assyrian king of wind demons, and the harpies in Greek mythology, portrayed with the head and bust of a hideous woman attached to the body of a vulture or eagle.

He described Mothman "as one of the most enigmatic figures in the annals of the unexplained." A tall figure with enormous wings, he was said to have a low slung head with two enormous hypnotic eyes that glowed red. He was repeatedly sighted in the Point Pleasant, VA area about a year before a tragic bridge collapse and was thought to be a harbinger of doom, Gerhard recounted. The Owlman is the British version of Mothman, with similar huge red eyes. Encounters were all reported to take place in the woods surrounding an old Cornish church. Interestingly, cryptozoologist Jon Downes experienced a "psychic backlash" when investigating the Owlman case, Gerhard revealed.

He shared details on the Houston 'Batman,' seen by witnesses in 1953. The winged entity emitted a dull glow, and then suddenly vanished. Gerhard believes that many of these odd entities have an other-worldly origin rather than being flesh and blood creatures. More recently there have been curious reports of unidentified flying humanoids (U.F.H.), particularly in Mexico beginning around 2000. Videos seem to show wingless humanoids floating up in the sky, without any type of wings or apparatus. Gerhard also spoke about non-flying cryptids such as Bigfoot, and Nessie.
Syria Analysis

First hour guest, trends analyst Gerald Celente offered commentary on Syria and the geopolitical landscape. "This is about a lot more than Assad; this is about the United States making sure they have full control in the Middle East," he remarked. The US administration wants to use the claim of chemical weapons as an excuse to overthrow the Assad regime, he continued. "If we go to war with Syria, I will say unequivocally that this is the beginning of the first great war of the 21st century," he added.
