Occultism, Satanism & Black Magic

Filling in for George Noory, John B. Wells (email) welcomed occult practitioner Winter Laake for a discussion on Satanism and Black Magic. Laake said his interest in the occult began in early childhood. Subsequent study of the dark arts led him to conclude that mankind is inherently evil and "Satan is the master of the world and the universe... a pervasive force, [an] energy that is throughout and all." Satan is a spiritual force that can take forms here on Earth and throughout the galaxy, he continued. It is an energy that can become part of us, Laake explained, noting that he believes an elevated dark force has manifested within him. Lower tier evil entities on the other side possess people of lesser wills, he added.

Laake revealed that Satanism, or some more general form of it, is the fastest growing religion on Earth. He admitted to placing satanic curses on people via psychic projection, pointing out that he doesn't believe in karma and is not interested in hurting people. He commented on what he called phantasmagoria, which is when the presence of evil can be felt, as well as the manifestation of darkness in the world and mankind's draw to that destructiveness. He also touched on concepts of a worldwide mind and satanic singularity (when mankind merges with nano-machines), Terminator-like ground-based reaper drones, the viciousness of the American government, and a future dystopic war between the Haves and Have-Nots in the not so distant future.

Biography:

Winter Laake is a writer and a practitioner of Satanic black magic. He has published five books on the subject of Satanism, remote-viewing and remote-influencing. He is also a psychic that has assisted law enforcement in the capacity of finding the missing or the murdered, and has occasionally assisted in locating murderers. He is also an avid screen-writer, ghost-writer and biographer.

Wikipedia
Satanism is a broad term referring to a group of Western religions comprising diverse ideological and philosophical beliefs. Their shared features include symbolic association with, or admiration for the character of, Satan, or similar rebellious, promethean, and, in their view, liberating figures.

Particularly after the European Enlightenment, some works, such as Paradise Lost, were taken up by Romantics and described as presenting the biblical Satan as an allegory representing a crisis of faith, individualism, free will, wisdom and enlightenment. Those works actually featuring Satan as a heroic character are fewer in number, but do exist; George Bernard Shaw, and Mark Twain (cf. Letters from the Earth) included such characterizations in their works long before religious Satanists took up the pen. From then on, Satan and Satanism started to gain a new meaning outside of Christianity.

Although the public practice of Satanism began in 1966 with the founding of the atheistic Church of Satan, some historical precedents exist: a group called the Ophite Cultus Satanas was founded in Ohio by Herbert Arthur Sloane in 1948. Inspired by Gnosticism and Gerald Gardner's Wicca, the coven venerated Satan as both a horned god and ophite messiah.[citation needed]

Satanist groups that appeared after the 1960s are widely diverse, but two major trends are Theistic Satanism and Atheistic Satanism. Theistic Satanists venerate Satan as a supernatural deity. In contrast, Atheistic Satanists consider themselves atheists, agnostics, ignostics or apatheists and regard Satan as merely symbolic of certain human traits. This categorization of Satanism (which could be categorized in other ways, for example "Traditional" versus "Modern"), is not necessarily adopted by Satanists themselves, who usually do not specify which type of Satanism they adhere to.[citation needed] Some Satanists believe in a god in the sense of a Prime Mover but, like Atheistic Satanists, do not worship it, due to the deist belief that a god plays no part in mortal lives.
